From Forced Time to Flex Time

The step-by-step course for the nurse who wants to be an Independent Contractor | taught by Lolita Korneagay, RN, BSN, MBA

Course description

If you want to take control of your schedule and earn more money, this course is for you.

Let's be real, you love being a nurse, but you hate the hours.

"Self-scheduling" really isn't self-scheduling when there are so many rules applied to when you have to work.

And once you're scheduled to work, you have to pay close attention to when you clock in and clock out because overtime is not allowed!

When it's time for your yearly performance evaluation, you only get a $1-$2 raise, if that.

AS AN INDEPENDENT NURSE CONTRACTOR, YOU MAKE YOUR OWN RULES!

  • YOU CHOOSE YOUR OWN CLIENTS.

  • YOU MAKE YOUR OWN SCHEDULE.

  • YOU DECIDE YOUR OWN SALARY.

I used to work 12-hour shifts, 4 days per week in the ICU for a Level I Trauma Center.

I missed out on spending holidays with my family and friends.

But then I figured out how to plan, run, and grow a successful business that allowed me to take control of my life and my time.

THE TRUTH:

You can use your current nursing knowledge to build a business as an Independent Contractor. No special degrees or certifications required. And you can do it your spare time.

The only thing that you need is some experience working as a Nurse.

MY RESULTS: $33,147.45 IN 3 MONTHS

Yup, that's right. During my 1st 3 months as an Independent Nurse Contractor, I billed $33,147.45 worth of services to my clients!

Want to know how I did?  How was I so successful right from the start?

I made a plan. And no, not one of those boring business plans that no one ever reads or looks at. I made a plan that allowed me to have laser-focus on what I wanted to do and how I was going to do it.

My "nursing plan" set me up for success. I was up and running in just a couple of weeks.

What's an Independent Nurse Contractor?

An Independent Nurse Contractor is a nurse that works independently on a contractor basis instead of working as an employee for a company.

Who can be an Independent Nurse Contractor?

Any type of nurse can be an Independent Nurse Contractor. You can be  LVN/LPN, RN, NP, etc.

Can an LVN/LPN be an Independent Nurse Contractor?

Absolutely! It's the nursing experience that counts.

Do you need a certification or degree to be an Independent Nurse Contractor?

No. And if someone tells you otherwise, they just want to take your money.

Why should I become an Independent Nurse Contractor?

Because you would rather be a BOSS than an employee. You have a desire to make your own schedule and earn more money.

How much money can I make as an Independent Nurse Contractor?

Since you are cutting out the middle man and going directly to the source, your income will increase immediately. Plus, you set your own rates and work as much or as little as you want.

Why don't all nurse become Independent Nurse Contractors?

I'm not going to sugarcoat it and say that being an entrepreneur is easy because it's not. That's why you need a plan.

Seriously, don't jump in being an Independent Nurse Contractor without having a plan mapped out, one that has a proven success of working.

Who is the course for?

Any nurse who wants to learn how to become an Independent Nurse Contractor but doesn't know where to start.

Any nurse who has desires to work less and earn more but has no idea how to transition from full-time employee to contract work.

From Forced Time to Flextime will help any nurse to smoothly and smartly transition to being a NURSE CEO
